Learning Opportunities at Centreville
The NT places much stress on teaching and the roles of elders, evangelists, women and others in that activity. The purpose of such teaching: “till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Eph 4:13). A challenging goal, indeed. Teaching grounds the saints, neutralizes the false teachers, instructs the young, encourages the weak, refocuses the distracted. Teaching, and its counter-part, learning, is vital to the health and well-being of God’s people.
Martin Adams has compiled the following list of opportunities to learn that Centreville is providing to both the saved and the searching:

Weekly:
Sunday 9:30 am – Bible classes all ages
Sunday 10:30 am - Worship hour with sermon
Sunday 5:00 pm – Evening worship hour with sermon
Wednesday 7:30 pm – Bible classes for all ages
Thursday 7:15 pm – Wegman’s Bible reading – currently in Mark; Acts next
Monthly:
1st Sunday 7:00 pm – Teenage devotional in various homes
2nd Saturday 6:00 pm – Young professionals devotional, Glinkerman home
1st Tuesday 7:00 pm – Ladies’ Bible class
3rd Sunday 7:30 pm – Singing practice/worship, Veach home
Annually:
Special Spring and Fall Weekend Series – 5 Sermons from national speakers on various Bible subjects
